I've been reading the posts on harrier diet. Has anyone seen one "fishing"?
This probably doesn't "count" (different species/off topic)... I was amazed
to watch a Marsh Harrier hovering very harrier-like against a steady breeze
barely above the gentle surf of the Mediterranean up to ~70 yards offshore
in southern Spain. Unfortunately after a few minutes I ran out of time and
never did see if it actually took a dive after some waterborne creature.
