At 3 this afternoon the WHOOPER SWAN was with about 30 Trumpeter Swans in a
field on Skagit City Road, behind the church just after you cross the bridge
onto Fir Island. It was only about 50 feet from the road, offering great
views.

The Game Range was fairly quiet (except for the intermittent gunfire), but
did see a very accommodating flock of 10 PINE GROSBEAKS.

A very nice day in the unexpected sunshine.
