Tweets - I was able to find the Red-shouldered Hawk at the Green River
Natural Resources Area in Kent yesterday morning at about 10:00 a.m.

It was never visible from the "grassy knoll"; instead, I had to walk north
from there on the sidewalk. It was perched low alongside a dirt track that
leads west from the road just inside the GRNRA fence and just south of the
KC Animal Shelter. It was actively hunting, but it kept returning to the
same general location.

Afterwards, at the Boeing Ponds, I had a Northern Harrier in a tree, and
later flying. It was calling - chuck chuck chuck chuck - perhaps the calls
were aimed at the Red-tailed Hawk in the next tree. When I got around to
the other side of the pond, a Peregrine Falcon flew in and landed on the
light post next to me.

Did anyone see the Slaty-backed Gull yesterday? I had to leave early, but
there were lots of people still at the mouth of the Cedar looking.
