The Whooper Swan was seen today at 2:00 right behind the church on the north side of Fir Island Road (about 1 mile from exit 221 off of I-5). It was about 30 feet from the parking lot fence in a small group of trumpeters.
Earlier in the day it was seen by Jim Flynn and his raptor class, along the road that runs along the dike to the Skagit Game Range.
