After reading Rick's report my daughter and I bolted for Lake Pateros. I found a loon at Lake Peteros today that matched earlier observations. Although I did not get close looks or photos I could see the white along the side of the body and it flared at the rear. The white started about mid body. I did not get a good look at the bill. I am sure this is the same bird seen by Gina and more recently Rick. The bird moved allot and it was difficult following it as it fed and moved down stream. I had found and lost the bird three times at different locations. As I said it fed downstream.

Also there were several western grebes and one red-necked grebe as well.
