Tweets,
Nope, it wasn't there, at least not during our two 2+ hr. watches on Mon. (Paul and Barbara Webster, Nancy Alden, and I) Kevin Aanerud was there in the a.m., but may have returned in the late aft.--we left at 2:45, 30 minutes after the turn of the tide. There were few murres to be seen all day, perhaps a half dozen commons in various plumages. The wind was fierce and the waters choppy, though the afternoon brought better conditions. In frustration at PNP cold and wind, we also visited Foulweather Bluff (please do not point out how aptly named this place is--it was worse than PNP!) Port Gamble, and Salsbury Point. The TB Murre wasn't there, either!
A Chicago birder, also in search of the TB Murre, reported that he was at PNP all day Sunday with no luck. He left in the late a.m., in search of Ancient Murrelets, none of which were seen at PNP either day.
Better luck to the next group!
