Hey all,
I keep looking for a Slaty-backed Gull that
Cameron Cox
assured me would show up here, but so far to no avail.
However I did have an adult winter Iceland Gull
Saturday on the beach at the Elwha River Mouth with
100 Mew Gulls, 25 Thayer's Gulls and 50 or so
Glaucous-winged/ hybrid gulls. I have been surprised
with the apparent scarcity of Western Gulls here in my
last 4 visits. Good Birding,
