We found it this afternoon on the south side of Fir Island Road a bit east
of the South Fork bridge. However, we noted two vehicles parked
illegally?partially on the shoulder of the road and partially in the lane of
traffic. Folks, please don't do anything dangerous when bird watching. We
don't want to anger the local citizenry nor endanger anyone.

Another rant: one of the people illegally parked was standing out in the
field, about 30 or 40 feet away from the Swans, taking photos. A telephoto
lens is for taking photos from a distance. You were endangering the Swans.
They had to fly away from you, using precious energy needed for their spring
migration. Please use common sense and courtesy when bird watching.
