There was one ruddy duck on the Central Pond at Montlake fill on Tuesday
when I was there. It was being rather shy and stayed over on the far
side of the pond from any people, so not the best photo of it, but:

Hope that helps! The tail's only up like that intermittently, sometimes
it sits on the surface of the water and gives the duck a very long
profile. I haven't seen the other two there, but it was only my second
trip to the site.
