Susan, your bird is a Palm Warbler, which I'm sure someone has
already told you.

What is especially interesting is that it is so yellowish, and it
appears to match the Atlantic-coast-migrating "Yellow Palm Warbler,"
Dendroica palmarum hypochrysea, which I wouldn't have expected in
Washington.

Hello all--

My birding partner and I walked along the Cedar River this afternoon
and spotted a pretty little warbler flitting through the trees and
bushes and pumping his tail like crazy. My friend had his camera and
took several shots that we hope some of you more expert birders can
use to help us identify this little guy.
