Birders are exceptionally nice people. Boeing Security has a job to do. I have worked for Boeing since 1988 and it has ALWAYS been company policy that no pictures be taken of company property in or outside of Boeing a building without an "officially approved of company camera." The rule are just more strictly followed since 9/11.
Birders are REALLY nice people, so lets all follow the rules. As far as a background goes for a really wonderful bird picture the sky, trees, bushes, water all make for a BETTER background anyway. Who actually WANTS a Boeing building in the background anyway??!!
