To the Swan lady,: 274th west side of ridge way...entrance to
State Park access. Two Trumpeter Swan trumpeting all the way. What a
sight and sound! They were headed North to Led-better Point.
Also at 274th Ocean Park, surf line, a mature Bald Eagle
attempting to chase a Peregrine Falcon off his gull feast. All this
at first light, no wind lc

Humming bird numbers keep growing
Usual male Anna's but some Females appear to have wintered here
too. First ti,e we've seen this. The Rofous Males are due in around
the 4th of Feb.and then the fourth feeder goes up. We have had a
large uptake in consumption due probably to the news., that my
husband warms the feeders at night.

Busy Birding by ear aided by a good eyed deaf man as guide! It all
works out!
