Last month an Anna's Hummingbird nested in the Ballard (Seattle) backyard of Marcus Donner, a photojournalist and former director of photographer for the now-defunct King County Journal. He's now documenting daily life at the nest and has created a photo blog for that purpose:

It's the first time I've seen photos like these of the female feeding her hatchlings.
