This afternoon I spent some time at Stillwater, hoping to see a
Chat. None made an appearance, but I was pleasantly surprised by an
American Bittern. (And I do hope that I have ID'd that correctly.)
It was at the edge of the water beyond the 2nd bridge to the south of
the parking lot. The distance was stretching it for my camera lens,
