for your viewing pleasure, the park gallery calendar has been updated for
july 2007. this month, a steller's jay juvenile has just taken a bath in a
small pool at the bellevue botanical garden...

photos from this weekend will not be available until tomorrow at the
earliest, but to whet your interest, among the highlights will be: pileated
woodpecker, winter wren, swainson's thrush, and one honest-to-goodness
mostly-white robin from pioneer park, mercer island... he was quite the
tease, but showed up just long enough to get one half-decent picture for his
scrapbook... there might even be a poor lazuli bunting shot if i'm lucky...
