birders,

there is a great interactive map of the currently known washed out access
forest roads and hiking trails in the state at the home page of the
washington trails association, a spin-off of the mountaineers club:

the count is over 200, and one suspects the number will climb as the hiking
season progresses and more hikers test out more trails.

have the november rains hurt birding as much as it has hurt hiking?
