My wife Tina Blade and I walked the Snoqualimie Valley Trail in
Stillwater from around 10 am to 1pm today. Highlights were the
YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT, a decent photo opp for a SWAINSON'S THRUSH, and
various juveniles still looking to Mom and Dad for food hand-outs
("beak-outs"?), including young CEDAR WAXWINGS and RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS.
Oh yes...it was hot. And getting hotter!
