Tuesday afternoon I heard the loud begging that Bud just described over the Husky Stadium. I looked up, and one of the (presumably nearby I-5 bridge) juveniles was flying after an adult who had something in its talons. Lots of complaints on the beggars end. It looked to me like the adult was trying to get the youngster to follow it, because there seemed to be a lot of circling, while avoiding some potentially larcenous gulls. By the time I made it to my car and the binocs, they were out of sight, of course.
