A small number of shorebirds have been at a little cove on the south half of
Willapa Bay since I was I got here on July 4.


A DUNLIN in perfect breeding plumage was present on July 5.

Maximum numbers of other species:
1 Least Sandpiper July 4.

340 Western Sandpipers July 7 (200 on July 4).

8 Short-billed Dowitchers July 4.

8 Greater Yellowlegs on July 4 and 6.
