This afternoon I checked the WDFW wetland just south of Porter on Highway 12. The pull off for the access to this area is right after milepost 29 heading south on Highway 12 from Elma. Today, here is what I found:

12 Long-billed Dowitchers
6 Greater Yellowlegs
25 Least Sandpipers
1 Killdeer

There was one bird resting at the far end of the wetland that could have been the Semipalmated Sandpiper I saw a few days ago. It never moved while I was there. The water is drying, but it continues to be a good spot.
