Last night I heard quite a story about an eagle. I have no reason to believe
it might not be true. In unincorporated east Thurston County an eagle/large
raptor was in a stoop, barreling down on prey on a large grassy field.
Suddenly it "hit the brakes" just in time to narrowly avoid the swipe of a
cougar's paw that leapt up after it. How'd you like to catch that on film?
