Subject: [Tweeters] Montana/Wyoming birding: Thanks, and a request

A number of people have taken the time to send me some excellent-sounding
suggestions for good birding spots on our journey to Yellowstone and
environs. For this, much thanks; if we do any major birding I'll be certain
to post a trip report on our return.

Another note, however: one of the respondents is a Missoulan who will be
driving down to Portland, I-90 to Yakima and then south (presumably to
I-84); he's interested in white-headed woodpeckers and is aware of the
excellent Wenas Creek site (which is where _I_ got that bird), but does
anyone have alternatives in case that doesn't pan out? His trip is planned
for late in July.

Please drop me a note (or post to the list) and I'll pass on anything to
him.

Thanks in advance,

Josh Hayes, josh at blarg dot net
