Brett,

You should recommend that your friend check out www.BirdWeb.org which
lists a slew of birding sites throughout the state.

For the ecoregion where Lake Chelan is located, visit:
http://www.birdweb.org/birdweb/birding_sites_list.aspx?id=6&emphasis='si
te'. There are a few other birding sites on the edge of the adjacent
ecoregions so be sure to click on "Birding Sites" to peruse them all.

Each has a description of the site, the bird species to expect,
directions and additional resources.

Enjoy!

Subject: [Tweeters] Lake Chelan area RFI

Hiya tweets,

I have a coworker who is going to eastern Washington this weekend and he
asked if I knew of any good birding spots in and around Lake Chelan.
Since I seldom get across the mountains, I told him I would ask the
tweeters community for help.

If anyone knows of good birding areas anywhere close to there, I would
greatly appreciate it. Any good birds to look for at the locations, as
well as any directions you may have would be great. I will pass the info
along tomorrow, but will also save the information for the next time I
get to rent a car to go birding.

Thanks much all!
