Hi Tweets,

Just got back from 6 days on Whidbey Island and have a real corker for you.
On July 16 at Crockett Lake, among the usual crowd of Caspian Terns, I
sighted and photographed a single Least Tern. I went back every day after
and never saw the little guy again. But what a thrill!

I'll post more later about the other birds sighted on that trip, but this
was a bit too exciting to keep to myself for much longer. :)
