Tweeters,

While I can't find a Black Swift nest, Dippers are another story. It
is a long way up the Entiat Valley at the appropriately named Entiat
Falls.

What's inside the nest has world class volume on their food begging
cries. Guess you need that to be heard over a waterfall's roar. It a
pretty area and this is very much road side. Take the kids. Pack a
lunch. Heck, take the Harley. It's paved all the way. Did I mention
it's a long way?

Look up under the big rock by the falls for the big bulb of moss with a
hole in it.

Nearby Silver Falls is hot stuff, and the forest service is working
hard at showing it off.
