pleasure. This issue features a gorgeous image that
originally appeared as the featured image
approximately six months ago, courtesy of a fellow
birder from Seattle, Bill Ferensen. This image is an
immature female snowy owl, in honor of the female
snowy owl, Hedwig, in the Harry Potter books -- the
last in that series which was released this past
Saturday.
