Following up on a third-hand report via Gene Hunn from a couple weeks
back, this morning I climbed up Mt. Si outside North Bend. Despite
the drizzle & overcast skies, the reward at the end was a very
cooperative Rock Wren, singing on the rocks near the 'haystack' peak.

Nice bird for King Co, especially since the Kelly Butte Rock Wrens
seem to have taken the year off....

The hike up is ~4 miles , w/ 3500 ft of elev. gain -- Good path all the way.
