CASPIAN TERN carrying fish inland at both Bellingham
and at Ferndale (just north of Bellingham), July 19,
2007.

This is noteworthy because to my knowledge as of two
years ago there were no breeding colonies in that
area, and in fact most or all of the CATE colonies on
the Washington coast were disrupted or destroyed.
