Hi,
For those who are interested, most places were already booked for this weekend. Haugen Lodge is no longer operating, although it became highly recommended, and the website is still up. Autumn Pond, and Bosch Garten, looked really good, and reasonable in price, but booked up. Sleeping Lady was 2-3 times as expensive, too much for this pair of old lovebirds. We have booked a night at River's Edge Motel, and one at Enzian, both are around $100 a night...
Thanks so much for all the emails, on places to stay. I had way too many suggestions, to try to respond to them all.
As it is, we both have ended up with the flu this past week, and are just barely going to be well enough to even drive to Leavenworth, don't know if either one of us will be up to much birdwatching!

If we do, I will try to send in a report on anything unusual.
