Subject: [Tweeters] Red Knot at Bill's Spit - Ocean Shores,

Today, I headed out to Ocean Shores to try for the Stilt Sandpiper that the Sullivans found yesterday. I had no luck with the Stilt, but did find one single Red Knot mixed in with the Marbled Godwits, Whimbrel, and Short-billed Dowitchers on Bill's Spit.

Earlier this morning, I checked the Chehalis Wildlife area near Elma for the Eastern Kingbird with no luck as well. The lone Trumpeter Swan was easily seen. Also, I heard at least one Green Heron in the wetlands.

Good birding,
