found a newly fledged Anna's on our front porch this morning. appeared to
be in torpor, eyes closed, but wings spread (like it was sun bathing, but no
sun and its a little cool out, 55 maybe) - the porch is not a good place as
there are cats that prowl.. no sign of a female that might still be feeding
it. tried warming it in our hands; offered it sugar water, but it did not
drink. mostly unresponsive, it just stretches its wings and tries to stay
upright. right now put it in a safe place, with a light to give it some
warmth....

I have to leave to report for jury duty in 10 minutes. Rosa will not have a
car today. Any ideas anyone?
