Hell-o all: Malkom & his parents Wendy and Ken have now cycled about 1500 miles south from the Yukon and Malkolm's list reached 163 species after the first alcids of the trip at Deception Pass. On August 1st we're crossing over to the Olympic Peninsula with the hslp of the Port Townsend Sea Scouts and a Longboat.

Please email us if there are any unusual bird sightings along the coast. Malkolm would also like to know if there are likely spots to see Sooty Grouse, Spotted Owl, Hermit Warbler, Hutton's Vireos or Townsend's Warblers.

We're doing our presentation at the Dungeness Center at 7 pm on August 3rd if anyone is in the area. We'd love to meet Washington birders!
cheers, Ken, Malkolm & Wendy
