The Roberson's report that the GREEN HERON returned today, 6/1, to the pond
at the Good Samaritan Village in Spokane Valley where it spent last fall.

A fall wandering heron I can understand. Anybody have a guess why it is
here now? At what stage is their nesting on the west side?

Last fall this bird was in adult plumage. Green Herons usually start
nesting as two year old's so shouldn't it be nesting now? Are their any
records of their nesting on the east side?

Thanks
