Hey all,

Had a nice morning in Fairwood. Went down to the pipeline trail near Royal
Hills, and saw the ospreys at the nest there on the cell phone tower. Also
heard my first Willow Flycatcher of the year, and saw my first Cedar
Waxwings. Also seen/heard: Rufous Hummingbird, Black Headed Grosbeak, Song
Sparrow, Swainson's Thrush, California Quail, Flicker, Towhee, Junco, Robin,
Am. Goldfinch, House Finch, Bwick's Wren, Black Capped Chickadee.

Down by Meeker Middle School, I heard some unfamiliar songs, including one
that I have heard before, but haven't been able to connect to a bird. It's
about a two second long four part call. I've been calling it the Figaro
bird, because it sounds to me like FEE-ga-ro FEE-ga-ro FEE-ga-ro FEE. Any
help on that one?
