This morning, Bill Kaufman and I went up to the falls to get a last
glimpse of the peregrine chicks . . . but it was not to be. They have
fledged. I looked everywhere, we had lunch overlooking their area,
then went back to look some more, but nothing, raptorwise in sight. A
few barn and tree swallows were all that we saw. I do hope they
fledged successfully.
