I've been watching a pair of flickers out on the Chehalis Western Trail in Olympia for the past few weeks. They appear to be tending two separate nest holes 150' from each other. One is about two weeks ahead of the other. This seems very odd. Further still, I couldn't find anything on the Cornell Birds of N.America database that would support this behavior. Has anyone seen this before?
