Hello Tweeters,

I finally made it out to Stillwater this morning. Lucky for me, the
second-year male American Redstart was still singing away, from about the
same spot it?s been reported ? just south of the second bridge south of the
main parking lot, on the east side of the trail. I was able to get a few
brief looks. The Yellow-breasted Chat was also singing, out in the open
field west of the third bridge, but never showed himself. Other birds in
the area included a few Mourning Doves along the trail, a flyover American
Bittern, and two singing Red-eyed Vireos. And the dawn chorus out there was
amazing.

Good birding,
