I have had an unusual darkeyed junco at my suet feeder this spring. Although it has the usual hood and tail markings, it is somewhat bigger and more aggressive than the other juncos, chasing them away from the feeder. Also, it has striping on its breast, reminiscent of a sparrow or finch. Has anyone heard of a junco X finch cross?
