Subject: [Tweeters] Ridgefield NWR: Wet day, but nice anyway
Date: Jun 9 19:18:11 2007
From: Bill Clemons - willclemons at yahoo.com

I went birding today up at Ridgefield NWR (~4mi W of
I-5 at Exit 14 in SW Washington;
http://www.fws.gov/ridgefieldrefuges/ ). I was there
from about 7a until around 2p. Carol Ledford joined
me around 9am at the Blind. The rain did not begin
until around 9am, and it rained almost continually
until we threw in the wet towel and left.

* There were two BLUE-WINGED TEAL drakes on S Quigley
Lake along with several Cinnamon Teal.
* About a dozen YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS are still on
territory on S Quigley Lake, and a couple more near
the Blind.
* Two EARED GREBE and one drake CANVASBACK are still
on Rest Lake.
* One GREATER YELLOWLEGS was on Schwartz Lake.
