For those of you who are Washington Ornithological Society members, the current WOS News in your mailbox has the registration information for our conference in Grays Harbor, September 14-17th 2007. For those of you that are not WOS members, this would be a great time to join. You can get registration information from the web site at http://www.wos.org/WOSConf.htm. Registrations postmarked by June 16th will have priority for field trips, after that trips are available on a first-come first-served basis.
We are very excited about the conference this year. It will feature:
Eleven different land-based field trips, covering extensive areas in and around Gray's Harbor
Three pelagic trips out of Westport, for great fall pelagic birding
Speakers include Dennis Paulson's presentation on the shorebirds of Washington State at the Saturday 9/15 dinner meeting, and Michael Donahue's presentation on pelagic birding in Washington on Friday night 9/14.
For questions please contact me or any WOS Board member.
Hope to see you in Gray's Harbor in the fall!
