Had some fun this morning watching a Red-Breasted Sapsucker nest near my home in Kirkland. Its position in a snag just 15 feet off the street made it ideal for photos. I watched both parents feeding at least two youngsters. One youngster then decided to be bold and fell out of the nest, made a nice recovery to a branch a few feet below the nest, and was thenceforth fed from his/her new perch. Meanwhile a crow looked on menacingly from a higher branch 20 feet away.

Photos, including two showing the exact location, are at:

Hopefully someone with better glass (I have a Canon 100-400 L lens on a Canon 30D) can swing by and get better shots. The nest is east-facing, so mid-morning light is best.
