Subject: [Tweeters] South Seattle I-5 Kestrel

Hi Tweeters,

I drove into work today and had a good raptor show on
the way. First an immature Bald Eagle soaring, then a
Coopers Hawk soaring nearby, this was near Associated
Grocers. The highlight and unexpected was a male
American Kestrel south of the West Seattle exit
sitting at the top of a tree in the median chowing
down on breakfast. I've never seen one in this area
before but there is enough open area near the airport
to possibly provide enough habitat. Or he was just
passing through.
