Hey all,
during a survey we had two Tufted Puffins at very
close range about 4 miles due north of the tip of Ediz
hook. Also we had hundreds of Rhinocerous Auklets. On
my side of the boat between Ediz hook and Angeles
point I had over five hundred. Then from Ediz hook
east to Green Point we had incredible numbers of
Marbled Murrelets, over 50. The keer calls eminated
from all directions, it wqas truly amazing. The
Puffins were right along our transect so we just
slowed and they did not flush, but swam languidly
away. Good birding,
