On Sunday, June 17th my wife and I birded the Ridgefield NWR in
Clark County in hopes of relocating the Blue-gray Gnatcather
reported yeaterday. We had no luck in finding this bird but did note
that the EARED GREBES on Rest Lake are building a floating nest at
the southwest end of the lake. To my knowledge this is the first
attempted nesting for this species in Clark County.
