Sightings for Sunday, June 17th:

In Langley, a probable BALTIMORE ORIOLE has been visiting a garden in Walnut
Grove for the past two days. The owner is prepared to let birders view the
feeder in the garden from the road between the hours of 7 am to 7 pm. The
address is 21396 85 Court in Walnut Grove, Langley.

In North Vancouver at Inter-river Park, a male LAZULI BUNTING and an EASTERN
KINGBIRD were seen.


Sightings for Saturday, June 16th:

At Maplewood Conservation Area in North Vancouver, between the office and
the first bridge, a first year male AMERICAN REDSTART was present. Also
here, a female LAZULI BUNTING and 2 EASTERN KINGBIRDS were seen.

In north Langley, a male AMERICAN REDSTART was present northeast of the
intersection between 208th St and Allard Crescent.

At Grant Narrows Nature Trail in Pitt Meadows, another male AMERICAN
REDSTART was seen 150 metres down the trail.

At Stanley Park in Vancouver, a male LAZULI BUNTING was seen just west of
Second Beach.

In the Tsawwassen area of Delta, 2 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS flew over 8A Avenue.


No reports for June 15th.


Sightings for Thursday, June 14th:

At Colony Farm, 16 singing male LAZULI BUNTINGS were sighted. Also seen were
6 EASTERN KINGBIRDS and 2 AMERICAN BITTERNS.


No reports for June 13th.


Sightings for Tuesday, June 12th:

At Pitt Meadows along Rannie Road, a WESTERN KINGBIRD was seen. Nearby, just
before the parking lot at Grant Narrows, a GRAY CATBIRD and EASTERN KINGBIRD
were present.

In North Vancouver, a CHUKAR was rescued along Mountain Highway in Lynn
Valley.


Sightings for Monday, June 11th:

At the Maplewood Conservation Area in North Vancouver, one EASTERN KINGBIRD
and 14 BLACK SWIFTS were sighted.


Sightings for Sunday, June 10th:

In Surrey at 162nd St and 77th Ave, a pair of LAZULI BUNTINGS were present.


No reports for June 9th.


Sightings for Friday, June 8th:

On the Grebe Islets at Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver, 5 BLACK
OYSTERCATCHERS were seen, and a TURKEY VULTURE was noted on the road to
Cypress Provincial Park.

At Grant Narrows Nature Trail in Pitt Meadows, there was no sign of the
AMERICAN REDSTART or the LEAST FLYCATCHER.


Sightings for Thursday, June 7th:

On the Grant Narrows Nature Trail in Pitt Meadows, a singing male AMERICAN
REDSTART, 5 GRAY CATBIRDS, a RED-EYED VIREO, and the LEAST FLYCATCHER were
sighted.


Sightings for Wednesday, June 6th:

At the Reifel Bird Sanctuary in Delta, 10 WHIMBREL flew north, and 100 BLACK
SWIFTS and 2 MUTE SWANS were also present.

At Iona Island in Richmond, a pair of EASTERN KINGBIRDS were seen at the
south end of the causeway by gravel parking lot.


Sightings for Tuesday, June 5th:

At Reifel, a HUDSONIAN GODWIT and a MARBLED GODWIT were sighted.


Sightings for Monday, June 4th:

At Reifel, 3 PURPLE MARTINS and a BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON were present.

In Surrey, a GRAY CATBIRD was present in the Green Timbers nursery near
144th St and 101st Ave.


Sightings for Sunday, June 3rd:

In Burnaby, a COMMON NIGHTHAWK was seen at Marine Way and Marine Drive.

At Colony Farm in Port Coquitlam, an EASTERN KINGBIRD and an AMERICAN
BITTERN were seen.


Sightings for Saturday, June 2nd:

At Maplewood Conservation area in North Vancouver, a female LAZULI BUNTING
was present.

On the Grant Narrows Nature Trail in Pitt Meadows, were a LEAST FLYCATCHER,
5 BULLOCK'S ORIOLES, 3 MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLERS, 2 GRAY CATBIRDS, and 6
TURKEY VULTURES.


Sightings for Friday, June 1st:

At Colony Farm in Port Coquitlam, 9 LAZULI BUNTINGS, 2 EASTERN KINGBIRDS,
and 1 BULLOCKS ORIOLE were sighted.

In Surrey, a GRAY CATBIRD was present in the Green Timbers nursery near
144th St and 101st Ave.

In South Surrey at 162A Ave and 15th St, an EASTERN KINGBIRD was seen.
