Can anyone tell me if grasshopper sparrows are seen in the Puget Sound
area? The maps seem to picture them east of the Cascades, but I believe
I saw a pair here. Small and fast, quick ground hunting; clear, strong
white central crown stripe; but too darn fast and too short a time to
get bill color and other key identifiers. Maybe they'll be back! Thanks.
