My wife and I also saw the Eastern Kingbird at Jaunita around 6:00 pm
yesterday. It was sitting on the tree where the kingfishers often do,
occasionally flying down to the water with a splash, then returning to
its roost. I was puzzled by what it could be until I saw the white tips
on its tail.
