While birding the small knoll at Reecer Creek in Eastern Washington
this morning, we were accosted by a man who asked if we didn't know
we were trespassing on private land (there are no posting or warning
signs). We asked politely if we might have his permission to look at
birds. We got an emphatic "no." Really too bad for a favorite birding
spot.
