Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday June 28. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

On June 19 a possible BLACK-TAILED GULL was reported from Ona Beach State
Park south of Newport. The Baskett Slough NWR INDIGO BUNTING continues to be
seen. On June 21 a hybrid INDIGO/LAZULI BUNTING was at Bloomberg Park in
Eugene.

The first fall migrant WESTERN SANDPIPERS were reported June 22 at the North
Spit of Coos Bay and June 23 at New River. On June 24 a SCRUB-JAY was west
of Charleston. A breeding plumaged CATTLE EGRET was seen June 21 at
Florence. A GOSHAWK was seen June 24 along the Trask River southeast of
Tillamook.

On June 27 an EASTERN KINGBIRD was at Oaks Bottom in southeast Portland. A
juvenile GOSHAWK was over Salem June 26. That day a BAND-TAILED PIGEON was
near Prineville. Many BLACK-THROATED SPARROWS were seen June 23 at the
Painted Hills National Monument.
