Hello Tweets,

Today we visit Karin and Joe Highbee at there resident at Spanaway in Pierce County. It been while since we been over there,so it was a surprise what Joe created to attract so many birds. The main attraction is the big stream with flowing water what is ending in a nice pond.It was a nice relaxing morning to watch all this birds, while Patrick stayed outside to watch many other birds in his neighbors yard. One of this birds was a male Lazuli Bunting, what once came in to Joes resident.Water seems to attract more birds it seems than food.We having here in Fircrest two bird baths with a dripping system what are even attract the Swainson and Hermit Thrush.
I could not resist to snap few photos today as this birds stayed around for some time.

The birds was seen were :
4 Downy Woodpeckers, two adult and 2 young birds
Male and female Towhee we.Young
Song Sparrows (many)
Adult White Crowned Sparrow ( singing)
Male Adult Western Tanager (with one young male)
Adult Oregon Junco 2
Adult Shipping Sparrow 1
Adult female Ring-necked Pheasent, this bird was not shy at all, feeding on cracked Corn
Several Morning Doves.
The time went fast while it was raining outside ,we watched relaxed inside and let the show go on.

Cheers Ruth Sullivan
